Louis Theroux

Journalist

Theroux is best known for his BBC series Weird Weekends. He is son of novelist and travel writer Paul Theroux and the cousin of actor Justin Theroux.

In a live chat on the BBC website, the following quote appears:

James Fuller: Do you believe in God?

Louis Theroux: At the risk of sounding trite, life is a mystery. I'm not totally atheistic, but organised religion has no role in my life.

On the BBC Television programme "America's Most Hated Family in Crisis" the following dialogue is spoken:

Steve Drain: Do you wanna hold a sign?
Louis Theroux: It's against my ethics.
Steve Drain: ... Why are you trying to pose a difference between religion and ethics?
Louis Theroux: Because I don't believe in God.
